Here's my list of the best QBs from each team:

UA: Joe Namath
Arky: Ryan Mallet
AU: Cam Newton
UF: Tim Tebow
UGA: Aaron Murray
UK: Tim Couch
LSU: Bert Jones / Y.A. Tittle
MSU: Wayne Madkin? (honestly couldnt think of another)
OM: Eli Manning
Mizzou: James Franklin / Maty Mauk
USC: Connor Shaw
UT: Peyton Manning
TAMU: Johnny Manziel
VU: Jay Cutler

I know some of these are debatable as far as GOAT for your team.

Mizzou I would love to include Paul Christman... but not SEC.

Mizzou/TAMU sorry you're a little more limited than most.

He does, but then you have moron LSU fans that think Flynn was better just because he has a title.

According to a lot of LSU fans Matt Flynn was a better college QB

ETA: Damn, what he said

Matt Flynn lasted longer in the NFL, so he must be better

Ha, i beat you. But it is amazing because they will point to the NC title, then you hit them with a " But Flynn and Jamarcus both lost 2 games in the regular season. Flynn just got lucky it happened to be a year for the first ever two loss champion" And watch the mouth breathing and moron drooling begin

With generational adjustment, was Eli really better than Archie? It was long before my time, so this is a serious question.

Thats a tough one. Archie obviously has the lore, but for what Eli did for Ole Miss in the current time is amazing. He took them to one game from the SEC championship

And his supporting cast was vastly less talented than even the last couple of OM teams

It really is tough. Ole miss was actually a good program in the 60's. When Eli was there they werent ever expected to do shite, and he almost won the SEC west with them

Yeah...I would go with Archie over Eli. Hodson was a good QB on some average LSU teams.
