I constantly saw allegations of cheating thrown around on this board while I was still a lurker, but I am trying to figure out why A&M's recruiting success doesn't draw more suspicion here. They have a pretty long history of cheating and have never come close to accomplishing anything that would remotely explain them having a #1 recruiting class that they currently have on some sites

Because 100% of SEC schools are fully engaged in pay for play recruiting tactics. No one cares that they're cheating, because any educated poster realizes their school does it too.

Yet I have seen several other schools accused of cheating here on a fairly regular basis

I feel like the whole move to the SEC, plus so much exposure from johnny, plus kevin damn sumlin, large market and loyal fanbase, stadium renovations and Charlie fkn STRONG being at UT explains this shite easily

Because we are better at hiding it than Auburn

Hiding it from who? You aren't that good at hiding it from the NCAA, because you have actually been on probation more recently than Auburn. I started to say it might because nobody cares due to your irrelevance, but I saw several people on here accuse Ole Miss of cheating last cycle and they are pretty irrelevant as well

Either we are good at hiding it or we aren't paying players. You can choose which one as I could care less if we pay players

Have you seen their bank account? They can hardly keep up with the MSU Dawgs let alone the Bama's and Florida's of the world.

I would be more suspicious, but I'm to jelly about the swagacopter.

On the recruiting trail it's all like...

and like...

Ole Miss is the only school not allowed to cheat without questioning. Didn't you know that?

the question of cheating is a matter of degree. if a school pays (say $50,000) for a player then that is cheating that should be punished. if a school gives a player $500 to have fun on his official visit then thats just play money and is irrelevant. toys such as iphones, laptops, headphones, shoes are irrelevant.

What am I mad about? I used to lurk on the Texas rivals board a decent amount and their fans used to claim A&M's football program has only 1 top 5 finish since the 1930's. How does a football program like that end up with a #1 recruiting class? It is a mystery to me

Yes, how does the only SEC program in the ENTIRE State of Texas have a good recruiting class?

Because they are taking advantage of Texas being down right now.

If A&M starts getting the top players from Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, and Georgia instead of mostly Texas kids then that will raise an eyebrow IMO
