Guessing we could rake in some really good money for the program, and we all know that the actual game doesnt mean near as much as the practices....

didn't read the article (at work) so can only scroll over the link but I get the gist I think. How long does the person get to coach, whole game? If it's for like 1 series, ok that's cool. If it's longer than 1 series that would suuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.

Full game. Gets pregame and halftime speech. If he wants to go for it on 4th and 30, he/she can.

Again, the actual spring game means nothing. The spring practices is what matters. I bet a UGA alum would pay close to $75,000-$100,000 for that. It could go to the program or a charity. Would be awesome.

That would absolutely and completely suck for everyone in the stadium and the other thousands watching on TV. The only person it'd be cool for is that one person.

There's a 95% chance the winner doesn't know shite about actually playing football and their coaching experience is limited to video games or 10U flag football. I have literally ZERO interest in watching some john q. nobody call plays for a few hours. shite they don't know the playbook! Every play will be a Gurley run or a deep bomb. Sounds like a terrible terrible idea.

First off, he gets to coach 1 team. He will also have a staff. He would so what a head coach does, so he's not gonna call every play. It's a great idea and would be an awesome way to raise money for a charity or the teAm.

Like I said I can't read the article.

If he's not calling plays, that's fine. Just let him hang out with the players and give a speech, cool. But somebody off the street calling a full game would be a disaster. As long as the real coaches are doing the plays I'm more ok with that.
