Spring Practices News? Anybody?

There is literally a 14 page thread on the top of this forum.

I will give you something know one else knows about, happened during the closed practices:

The formation is called the Bezerker.

4 wide Receivers, sometimes Henry in the slot, 2 split on each side of the line, now here is where it gets interesting:

Both Brandon Allen and Derby line up in the back field like a couple RBs in a "pro set".

There are three plays called in the huddle, the O-line and players mere cat to the sidelines to get the call from Chaney. 2 plays are pass plays calls and there is a run play option.

Depending on the final play called the ball is snapped to either Allen who passes or runs the read/option with Derby or Derby who has a pass/run threat.

The offense has been literally unstoppable, Derby has rushed for two 99 yard touch downs and Allen had 500 yards passing during one practice using this offense.

They've had 7 practices (5 with pads) and only 1 scrimmage so far. Also Tuesday's practices are closed so the only time the media can watch is Thursday and Saturday scrimmages.

That means only 3 of the practices have been opened so far so tomorrow should be more reports. Bielema only talks once a week (on Saturday) so that is when most of the info is dropped.

They are on Week 3 of 5 -- practice 3 times a week.
