He's a helluva talent. No doubt.

However, he hasn't yet lived up to expectations as the number 1 receiving recruit in the country.

Sure, he's made his share of big plays, but it's not like Mizzou made it to the SEC Championship solely because of DGB.

Hell, Mizzou made it to the SEC Championship game with a QB who at times seemed hell bent on not throwing to DGB.

Point is that we have a talented team of receivers who can fill his role. We can win without him. And, if he is a distraction to the team...we'll be better without him.

Not worried of the outcome in the slightest. Mizzou will be just fine.

I also think we'll be fine but MM likes to throw to DGB. MM also "makes" DGB go get the ball vs waiting on it to come to him. Maybe DGB can somehow get all of his shite in 1 sock and frick up the sock.

I have to disagree, until we see what they do on the field we cant say there better without him. No he hasnt lived up to expectations, but he was turning into to that player while Mauk was throwing him the ball.

Respectfully disagree w/ OP,, just go back and watch his TD catches vs UK, those plays were virtually unstoppable and it wasn't just because it was UK. That's a kind of talent that comes along rarely, it's not something to take lightly.

Now I would agree, IF his off field antics were that bad, it wouldn't be worth it, but so far we only know that he has smoked some reefer, well the President of the U.S. can do it, but a football player can't, sorry but I abhor such double standards. And at this point, the recent item sounds like no more than a lover's spat that found him reclaiming his own property, from an angry GF. I'm yet to be convinced he's this bad guy that some in the over utilized twitterverse have made him out to be. Yes we all want immediate resolution of the situation, but we also all know it doesn't work that way, so let's chillax and let it play out.

We need to know what happened and then come to a conclusion, and not keep pushing the cart w/ our nose.

Mostly agree, but I think he was used as a decoy quite often. I am betting most teams had their stud DB occupied with him.

DL got better with Sheldon gone. Sometimes big egos overshadow great talent.

I'll agree and disagree. Mizzou will be just fine without DGB. Having said that, I'd still rather have a DGB who doesn't beat women on the field. He'll never put up earth shattering numbers. Just not how our offense typically works. The ball is spread around and lots of players are involved. If he had 1000 yards receiving, I'd be ecstatic.

No.

Will they be horrible without him? No, but having him out there is a "force multiplier". As mentioned above, Mauk will put it in places only he can get to. JF wasn't accurate enough to do that.

Side note: Why can't wstorie post a grammatically correct message? Hell, why can't he/she simply post a legible message?

I guess I'm asking too much. Not everyone can live up to or exceed expectations like myself.

Well, you've opened up a gateway to hell now, good job.

Prepare for this thread to be destroyed in less than 15 mins.

Not sure about being better off without him, but I agree with the rest of your comments. Mizzou will be fine either way, and if there is one position we are loaded at it is WR.

You're an oddly super sensitive little person.

Australians refer to super sensitive men as "flopdangle dandymen"...a most unflattering reputation.

Even the aboriginals laugh at flopdangle dandymen.
