I know it's bleacher report, but please let this be true. I would pull for Al-Qaeda over Notre Dame. Nothing would make me happier than UGA getting a chance to wax their asses in South Bend.

When reached Tuesday, Georgia athletic director Greg McGarity acknowledged verbal communication with Notre Dame about a potential series but stressed there's no agreement in writing and, thus, no reason to get too excited.

I like that we're talking about it. Would be an awesome home and home. I'd be ecstatic.

The link takes me to a CBS article so it's pretty legit. Jeremy Fowler wrote the piece and he's pretty reliable from what I've seen.

That's Jeremy Fowler on CBS Sports, not even BR, so there may be something to this.

GOD I hope this happens SOOOO bad

Ah ok. It popped up on the bleacher report app on my phone.

I can think of few greater pleasures than watching UGA mutilate Notre Dame in South Bend

Definitely a trip I'd be making.

I've always wanted a home and home with ND. Michigan, ND, and PSU for personal reasons are all three trips I have always wanted but I think I've wanted ND the most.

Papa DGD wants it too so I know that pending work issues I'll be there.

This makes up for him canceling the Oregon series and then having the Buckeyes drop out like little bitches.

This needs to happen. South Bend is a bucket list stadium and it would thrill me to death to be able to watch the Dawgs on top of seeing that place.

The Georgia Dome people would love it, but I'd much rather do a home and home

Agreed. It's so much better visiting another campus and then having another school visit Athens so we can rub their noses in how much better it is here.

It's the only way to do it. Plus our luck at the dome is nonexistent

South Bend in the fall would be awesome and imagine a game day in Athens with the Golden Domers coming in would be one huge event to put it mildly.

It gets cold up their early so mid October at the latest for a Northern excursion.

South Bend is pretty cool, actually

Edit: The campus is cool. Can't say about the actual city.

No thanks. It would be a good even for the dome, but gimme a home and home. Athens would be so electric, moreso than it was for the LSU game last year which is as rowdy as I've seen it in a while.
