So the whole nation can watch Tennessee lose this game now. UT will be Arky 2013 level bad next season.

We're not going to be very good next season, a lot of unknowns across both lines of scrimmage, although I do think we've uprgaded at every skill position.

Sure, Utah State could beat us, but I really don't expect them to. They return very little from their 2013 team, 4 offensive and defensive starters.

How many return on their 2 deep tho. Seems a lot of "expert" have them in or near their preseason top 25s.

I have no idea what their two deep looks like. I hope they are pre season top 25, makes the game that much more intriguing.

Dead last out of 128 teams in returning starters.

USU kids are going to get to see one hell of a show with Boomsday. This really is a good idea because now people can do an entire labor day weekend.

Also, Miami at Louisville on Monday Night. Petrino's big 2nd debut at Louisville.

Returning Starters can be a misleading way to look at rosters sometimes though. At Vandy for example Caleb Azubike was our best pass rusher at DE and played 50% of the snaps subbing with Walker May. Adam Butler by the end of the year was starting and playing over 50% of the snaps at DT but is not listed as a "returning starter".

Likewise due to injury to Chase Garnham, Jacob Sealand started 7 games at LB but he is not a "returning starter" also happened to VU in the secondary at Andre Hal's spot as well as Javon Marshall both missed games and had Paris Head (3 INTs) and Andrew Willliamson (2 INTs) fill in very effectively.

Bookmarked, although I'm gonna look foolish when I bump this bc let's face it, being better than 2013 Arky is not very hard to do
