This is the third straight championship (Major sport) lost by a SEC team since the bullies failed in Omaha.
is that the proper place to lay blame for the SEC failing in the final round...MSU, Aubie, UK
SEC SEC LOL

Just because yall suck does not make it not a major sport.

There is a big drop off from football to basketball and a big drop off from basketball to baseball. But those are still the big 3.

South Carolina the year before.

The drop off from basketball to baseball is bigger than the one from football to basketball.
Because I don't like baseball and my fandom is huge.
HUGE.

Plus Tennessee in softball last season. SEC is going down the toilet.

Yea they're certainly not on equal footing and baseball is by a large margin pulling up the rear, but if you're going to say there are three major sports, those would be the three.
MSU losing had nothing to do with auburn losing which had nothing to do with UK losing. Those teams they played being better...that had something to do with it though.

I know. Doesn't change what the three biggest sports are.

in college? because baseball is not one of them. I believe it comes in 4th or 5th in college as far as revenue and popularity

Don't get me wrong...college baseball is a vastly inferior product than it's professional equivalent, and I really don't care for it so personally i agree with you, but what is more popular to fill the 3rd spot at least in the south?

Probably differs on region. In the south, baseball is probably top 3. In the north, hockey is probably higher on the list.

I agree...but so is college basketball. I am guessing women's basketball would be the only sport that could be more popular than college baseball. Not in the SEC but if you look at it nationwide.

Eh. We were favored to win the championship series. UK was favored last night.
