a nice story about a cop doing a nice favor for another cop

LINK cop from a small trashy town is in a wreck and a almost empty bottle is found in his vehicle. The deputy that showed up to the scene claims he isn't certified to give a field sobriety test so he lets the cops wife come get him. This sounds pretty fishy that a deputy wouldn't be certified in giving field sobriety test.

Crazy...every cop that has pulled me over claims to be certified in everything. Drug smelling, wagging their finger in front of your face then claiming you are drunk.

maybe if you start telling them you are a high ranking cop from another town they will lose their certifications.

Every cop is certified to administer field sobriety tests. He probably just wasn't HGN (Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus) certified and used it as an excuse to let the other cop slide.

They normally teach and certify that in the academy. At least, in my life experience.

I miss the old days when you could drive around in your Model T drunk as a sailor and crash into everything and there weren't any laws on the books against it yet.
