No, but thanks to 1/9/12 Alabama gets to claim the 1997 national title because it isn't fair that LSU got another shot against Alabama in the national title game after Alabama won the 3 game series. That series win included a 28-2 win. Since 2011 taught us that a team obviously can't win a championship over a team it lost to during the regular season, Alabama should have been crowned 1997 national baseball champs.
