and screw any SEC fanbase who doesn't. If your excuse for not pulling for UK is that you don't want them getting your recruits...you're dreaming....your team probably has no chance at the kids they get.

I'm not an SEC rah,rah guy but just knowing how an SEC title in basketball would drive the Big 10 and ACC out of their minds is worth rooting for Kentucky.
Plus UConn's coach Ollie sounds like he stopped taking English in about 4th Grade. May be a great guy and coach, but what an embarrassment to the university when he speaks.

Only because y'all are playing a blue blood, and yakee.
I honestly have no interest in it. I would of watched Wisconsin play. A 7/8 matchup should make everyone happy, but both teams won it all this decade.

As a native Kentuckian, I grew a die hard member of the BBN just like all Kentuckians. My fandom has moved to indifference since Calipari arrived as I've always hated that man. Hated him at Memphis, why should that change just because UK hired him? That being said I'd still be happy if UK won it's 9th national championship.
On the other hand before the FF started I bet $100 on UCONN to win at 9-1. So I'm in a win-win situation. UK win 9th title, I'm happy. I win $900, I'm happy

I have nothing against UK and I am rooting for them tonight, but it has nothing to do with "SEC solidarity" or whatever people call it now.
