My thoughts about this past weekend in Dallas

I came home yesterday from the FF. I was planning to stay, but 47 degree wet all day weather dissuaded me from staying. Cannot really go to an outdoor concert like that. Disappointing ending to the weekend for sure.
First good luck to KY tonight. I have no dog in this fight, and I truly couldn't care less who wins. I will probably watch, but I'm still disappointed in how this went down. Ollie figured out how to beat Fl and Cal couldn't in three tries. The talent discrepancy was obvious this weekend. FL did so much with so much less. Great year, and great job by Billy. You are welcome KY, we taught you how to become a better team.
I didn't see the "blue mist". There was pretty much equal attendance of KY, WI, and FL fans. UConn was the least represented but they were fairly loud.
Anyway, to the a-hole who felt so big by telling me frick Florida after the game- I'm glad my team could make you feel better about your pathetic life. Good for you that even being about 6'2" you felt so little that I had to make you feel big. I think you and the other assholes who felt that they had to say something to me and other Florida fans after the game are sad creatures. And btw, this one didn't really hurt that bad, because it was such a stellar year. A banner will go up
Can't wait till next year.
I say it's great to be a Florida Gator!

Did you make the trip to Indianapolis or San Antonio in 2006 or 2008? How did the fan experience in "North Texas" compare to these if so?
I made the trip for LSU in 2006 and actually enjoyed watching Florida play. Although I would have rather seen us win it all, having another SEC team take home the title and beat fricken UCLA was a nice consolation.
I can imagine being at the same Final Four with Kentucky fans would be a lot worse than with LSU fans. We know our place when it comes to basketball

GA fan read above
I went to San Antonio in 2008, went to Atlanta in 2007. I thought San Antonio was overall the worse (although I had no dog in that fight). Atlanta's venue was better IMO. Although the overall organization and activities were better in North Texas. Too bad it was rainy and cold.

The KY fans were fine- except the young guy behind me who was screeching wooo in high pitch during their game every time KY did something right. I wanted to punch him since he was screaming in my ear. But I thought he was not malicious, just an idiot.

I'm not. I'm still stunned every time I see an adult with a desire to have this kind of interaction with a stranger. I just don't talk to other fans except to be pleasant and polite. I don't get it, aren't we all just fans?

Gator bro, this is the SEC. We didn't make it to the top by being pleasant and polite. This ain't intramurals.

I'm not playing so what I do doesn't affect who wins. I'm pretty sure than being an a-hole doesn't do your team any good, and gives your fanbase a bad rep.
But whatever makes you feel better about yourself no?

If they live in CT or WI their life probably sucks already
a) they are yankees
b) they do not live in the Sunshine state
c) they are not in the SEC fraternity
d) all of the above
As for your comment, TX tries but it is still a football state and not a basketball one. It should not be played in the DeathStar and it should be played closer to more basketball centric states.

Horrible weather... Did anyone go to Springsteen's concert yesterday in the rain?

Apparently you have never been to a UF home football game.
