Many on here have great insight on the game of FB. Me I am an armchair person. I played two years of junior high then moved to a part of the world where FB was not played. Soccer was though.
So you guys that know your stuff please tell us your experience in the game..Some on here sure nuff played major college ball and may have gone past college and some sound like they are or have been coaches.

In HS I played CB/QB
Freshman year I played Nickel, and was the backup QB.
Sophomore year I played Corner, and was the backup QB.
Started at RB Junior and Senior and seasons.
During my Fr/So years, the guy ahead of me got hurt a lot so I played a good bit in those seasons.

I stopped playing football when I moved to florida in 9th grade. The school I went to had a terrible football program, but their baseball team won the 5A state championship the previous year. So I decided to just focus on baseball and chase women in the fall, because I hate losing and love women.
Never won a ring in baseball unfortunately. We were ranked number 4 in the country at one point by USA today, and I played with 2 guys that are now in the majors and another that was a first round pick. Twice we got bounced early by the eventual state champs in close games
Anyway, csb. If you want to know more about football though i'd be more than happy to help. I rarely lose on NCAA and Madden so my football acumen is up there with the greats. Thanks.

I didn't play past HS.
I still have dreams where I forget to bring my game pants, pads, or other important items, and the game is about to start or the bus is about to leave. Never happened but I still have a variation of that dream a couple times a year.

Never played soccer. Should have stuck to baseball. My love was football. My body didn't grow to match my love. Took up kicking in middle school to stay on the field in the public schools!! :) Played high school ball with some great talent at Murphy (lost to Vigor in 1988 when they were State and Natty Champs and lost to Anniston in State Finals in 1989). Was a recruited walk-on for Bama in Stallings first year - got to college and other things got my attention and have regretted not worked harder ever since!!!

Only connection I have to football is watching my brother at Cleburne County(Heflin). He blocked for prothro for 4 years. Todd actually made all state 2 years in a row and had offers all over the country too. He's a dumb arse though and followed some girl and didn't pursue football. Prothro was one fun dude to watch...I remember during a playoff game at Boaz it was INSANE. Prothro returned 2 kickoffs 2 punts and had like 4 long TD runs. Boaz literally had like 100+ people trying to get Porthro's autograph after the game. They were in AWEEEEEEE of him....I say all this because this is what made me such a huge football fan now. Oh yeah..I played 2 years middle school ball. I played a safety type position...Saban would've loved me.
I miss those days........
