This thread is for player predictions for the 2014 season

My prediction your ask? Gabe Wright will be our best defensive lineman and one of the best in the SEC this year.

He will earn #90 this year.

Yours?

Lawson has a season that primes him for a Top 2 draft pick after 2015.

Montravius Adams AND Carl Lawson have years that make them locks to be gone after 2015 season. Both lead the SEC in sacks at their respective positions.

Peyton Barber will put up Mason-like numbers next season.

We will have two receivers with >750 yds.

All he had to do was put down the XBox controller.

Player predictions? Hmm. I'll try to do some non-sunshine ones.

RBS:
- CAP won't be able to hold down RB#1 and will relinquish to Barber or even Grant. He will be a reliable #2.
- Barber is going to be a household name in December, at least in the SEC. We all agree on this.

QB:
- Marshall will go down to injury at least one point in the year, Jeremy will come in and the team is going to have to reorient itself around a more passing offense. We got lucky with injuries last year

WRS:
- Sammie and DQ both gone in January after solid seasons

Linemen:
- Lawson, Gabe are second team all-SEC. Adams, Owens pin it on D. Lawson leads team in TFL
- Dismukes first team all-SEC. Kozan second

LBs:
- Cass leads the team in tackles. Frost goes back and forth as starter. Garrett and Tre Williams get significant PT

We still have the same S & C coach. You can thank him for the minimal injuries.

I do, and wouldn't want to take away from the job he's done. Statistically though it's somewhat rare to do what Auburn did, make it through the season without any significant offensive personnel going down for a while(QBs, RBs). With the crazy amount of running we do I just don't see it happening again.

There are approx 17,000 car accidents a day and almost 7 million per year in America. That doesn't mean I say, well I got through an accident yesterday looks like today will be my turn.

Every 33 seconds someone in the United States dies from cardiovascular failure. This doesn't mean I predict that I got lucky last year and my turn is coming this year.

I don't understand people who feel the need to predict injuries. Maybe that makes me a sunshine pumper.

Grant goes for over 1,000 this year.

Owens has a monster year and works his way into the second round of NFL draft.

Grant is gonna be the man this year. People always talked about him lacking the ability to cut, but I saw him make several moves last year me take it upfield for huge gains.

Hey man, I hope you're right. Not going to argue about it. Just saying it's a rough sport.

Not arguing. Yes it is a rough sport, but you predicted an injury for Marshall and I will never understand people who predict injuries. It's cool man, your right to predict what you want.

Huh?

Holsey-out for the season
Denson-out for the season
Whitaker-out for the season
Garrett-out for the season
Jones-out for a major part of the season
Marshall-banged up for a couple games

Those are the ones off the top of my head. All of those guys would've see major minutes if not for their injuries. How many do you expect?

Did that not happen last year?
