Have we changes the pace at our practices? Would love to hear our D was getting some pace practice everyday.

One of the biggest disappointments to me was how slowly our defense got positioned after each play against hurry up teams. Especially the defensive linemen.

not sure if we have the experience at QB to be able to simulate that in practice. if we had a QB who could run an offense at HUNH speed, he'd probably be the clear cut starter. i just dont think we have anyone on the roster who has significant practice time with that style of offense

According to saban on his radio show they practice 1v1 with pace so much that the offense can run hunh if they wanted to. This was last year, so not sure about this year, but I doubt they're that far into practices to be practicing against pace yet this year.

I hope they are starting now practicing with our ones running a basic offense as fast as possible four ten minutes per practice. Also hopefully developing a better system for quick subs.

A lot of teams will rotate offenses every play to prepare their defense. Basically second team O has the play and is standing together ready to sprint to the line when he play is blown dead.
