Zach Price arrested for 3rd degree assault

Saw it on TB and seems to be accurate. That makes somewhere around 1/4 of the basketball team having been arrested in the last month or so.
Kids will be kids but at the same time, no, no discipline or control issues with the staff.

Bleh. Depends on what happened if it matters. Every program has this crap unless you are talking mid majors.

Apparently, followed his roommate (Ross????) and his girlfriend in his car. Punched his roommate in the face and shoved the girl to the ground. Frankly, if true, get rid of him. I could give a shite about Price. He went out of his way by following them. Rammed them with his own car. Punched the dude, no biggie, and shoved the girl to the ground, bigger deal. Just don't need that shite IMO. We're not going to make the tourney with him or without him. He'll probably stay on the team, but frick him.

The girl got shoved out of the way during the fight. Was he supposed to punch her first, then go to the guy?

Naw. Frick em. He sought out the confrontation. Escalated it by ramming cars. There's almost no situation where that is justifiable behavior.

Oh, I'll wait to hear it all, though I doubt we ever will. No, what he was supposed to do was not get in his car and chase them down in the first place. What he was supposed to do is show better judgment and do neither. Price created the situation regardless of what happened beforehand.
As for the girl, I just have a real problem with any man that lays a hand on a woman and I'll admit I might be over the top in my feelings about it, but I can't imagine it's ever justified short of a gun or knife being held on you.
Bottom line is I just don't give enough of a crap about Price to want him around if the allegations are true. Actually, at this point I don't even care if he stays. To state the obvious, what I think of the guy is pretty damn irrelevant.

lol, Haith himself was involved in a scandal and put a black eye on the program. This kind of behavior from his players is hardly surprising.

According to Dave Matter, Price was arrested for a second time today around 4pm... Not sure if he made bail and they decided he may be a risk to leave or what the situation is. Still waiting for details.

I don't think we need issues like this on the team. He went out of his way to attack a teammate and that guys girlfriend. This wasn't a spur if the moment, spike if temper thing. He followed them, thought about it. I'd get rid of him. But that's just me.
