I just broke my phone and I'm trying to decide which one I should get. Can anyone with experiences with both tell me which one you prefer?

Do you prefer the android operating system or iOS? That should make your decision easier.

It really doesn't make a difference. I personally prefer Android over iPhone and now that I have the HTC one max, I wouldn't be able to go back to a small display, but for the things most people use them for, it makes no difference.

Large display ftw.

I had an I-phone briefly. I honestly don't understand the appeal.

I like having a back button so I could never use an iphone on a regular basis. That being said I have a GS4 and a iphone 4 I use the GS4 as my everyday phone and the iphone for my outdoor trips since it does itunes very well and the battery lasts longer plus I got a free life proof case with a free warranty.

Yes. Adroid phones like Samsung were always more intuitive to me. Back button. Home button. It seems more like internet browsing to me. Plus I wouldn't know how to text without Swype.

The only real love I have for the iPhone is that I'm on my second one and it still works well.

I bought it in September 2010.

I've never had a phone last this long and still be awesome. It is my intention to make it last as long as possible and buy the next one.

I happy with a GS4 but it's really up to your own preferences..

Oh lord, you've started it now.

It's a phone. You'll be happy with either one you buy.

In my opinion, the question should never be "iPhone vs Samsung". There are so many better options for android phones than whatever Galaxy they're on. Consider the Moto X, Nexus 5, HTC One, LG G2, all better choices than Galaxy S4 or 5, whichever one you're looking at.

But, if you are absolutely limited to those two, I'd take the iPhone. The " iOS vs Android" question hardly applies when you're dealing with a Samsung phone, they're so heavily skinned you can hardly call it android to begin with.

ETA: my answer to the question in your thread title is iPhone. My recommendation of all phones available right now is the Moto X. Look it up.

I switched from iPhone to a note 3. I will never have another iPhone. I use my old one as an ipod now.

I have an iPhone for work and a Galaxy for personal. I carry them both with me at all times. There are certain basic things I do with my personal phone I can't do with my iPhone. The customization and personality of the galaxy, if those things are important to you, can't be beat.

I'm very interested to check out the Samsung phones when they roll out their own operating system that is coming very soon.

At that point, hopefully the iPhone 6 will be announced and I can compare the two and go from there.

I played around with wifeys iPhone but fell in love with the Galaxy (I have a NoteII).

Just go to a cell phone store and experiment and see which ios feels most intuitive.

I was waiting on the S5, but I lost my phone this weekend and went ahead and got the new HTC One. So far I'm pretty impressed.

iPhones are great for simplicity and consistency.

Androids are great for customization and tinkering.

It's really a matter of what your preference is.
