Really liked the hire and I'm really can't wait to see a much better gator unit in 2014. Just need to stay healthy

Brantley - Pocket Passer playing in a spread offense.
Driskel - Spread Passer playing in a pro-style offense.
Driskel had: No O-Line, No productive running backs and uninspired receivers in a system that wasn't built for him.
No quarterback with his skillset would have done well.

Our team will light up the SEC if and oonly if our OL can avoid the training room debacles of last year. We have talent but are on thin ice..we have had poor recruiting of OL up until last year in numbers. We will have to go JUCO for at least 1 player for 2015.
Our OL consists of:
Trenton Brown Sr JUCO
Max Garcia SR transfer
Chaz Green Sr
Drew Savary Jr JUCO
DJ Humphries Jr
Tyler Moore Jr transfer
Trip Thurman Jr
Cameron Dillard Fr
K. Harkless tr Fr
Antonio Riles Fr converted DL.
These are players who can help us this year with the last three the least experienced. Not mentioning a few other recruits as they will need more time, but look at heavy we are in upperclassmen. Recruiting OL is going to be a priority for several years to get numbers in order. We need five OL the next two recruiting years at least

Hopefully Sharpe can come in and contribute and add depth immediately. UF needs the help.

I cant remember, but didn't Sharp not graduate early and wasn't on spring roster? That's why I didn't list him. OL is such a tough position physically and mentally for a frosh to come in and play...but some do contribute by mid year if they can hold their own on special teams or God forbid the unthinkable happens and we are forced to use them.
Muschamp did a poor job recruiting OL in 2013 class and he gets a pass from me for his first two years because he was adamant in making UFs defense one of the SECs best. Our last banner year recruiting OL was in 2009 and in Meyers last season he only signed two OL and we continued that trend for several more years....if not for transfers Garcia and Moore we would be doomed.

Sharpe will be at UF in July.
He will more than likely RS.
You guys need to remember Rod Johnson. He was being talked about as a starter before having surgery and missing spring.

Yes, I left Rod off for same reason I left Sharpe off...but hopefully he can provide depth soon. We have six solid OL imo...even seven is more like it. Our problem is we need recruitment for 2015 class to replace SRS and JRS since the position requires maturation.probably wont meet that goal but 5 high school and one JUCO will help.
