Go to your Account and select Settings. Then open another page, go to Google, input one of the hosting sites above along with whatever theme you'd like your avatar and sig file to have.

I.did it and its not showing up as my avi
I copied n pasted it in my settn but cant see it

You're cutting and pasting the URL from the picture you want into the appropriate box under Settings?
If yes, keep trying different / similar pictures from a different hosting site.
Just play around with it a little and you'll find one that works.

hmmm,, imgur (approved site),, 23k, (within the limt) unencoded link seems to be all that is accepted., still noey goey
ok fixed my issue by bypassing the host site to the direct link.. ie
