Don't mind when a sports journalist is critical of a coach, program, etc. But one has to know Forde's personal beef with KY and Cal I guess. When personal comes in to the writing, then the journalist crosses the line. And Forde crosses the line here, especially since his Louisville team just got beat by the coach he hates.

Forde is a Mizzou alum, not UofL.

Guess the non UK fans out here don't understand Forde's history with Cal and UK. The article is the worst of a back handed comment he could make. Spends a lot of his time tweeting his nonsense and then can't even man up after his beloved Pitino loses to Uk again. Nothing. No tweet. No article. Nothing. Then, watching them beat Michigan yesterday and this is what he writes. Sorry... but his personal beefs are all over this article. But all is good. He can pen his next great "all is wrong with college basketball" and "Cal is garbage" article if the Cats lose in the Final Four.

Only real beef I have with the article is that I don't like it when sportswriters write themselves into their articles, which he did here.

He's basically having to eat crow, so he's trying to make it as palatable as possible.

Forde is a Mizzou alum who has spent his entire career hating on UK via yahoo, espn & twitter while praising Louisville and Pitino. Used to work for the Louisville Courier rag. He links the hate article he wrote a couple weeks ago in the OPs link and he is now trying to recant.

I hope most mizzou alum/fans aren't as big douches as Forde.

He couldn't write a positive story and ignore the critical piece he wrote less than a month ago. So he matched the previous format of a series of questions, except this time Cal has all the answers and Forde is the one who looks silly for asking them. You might have good reason for your opinion on Forde, but I don't think this one belongs in the examples.

I don't think you read too good.

He's basically eating crow for calling out Calipari a few weeks back. It's not apologetic, but he is admitting he was proven wrong.

Not a Forde fan, but that was a decent article imo. I am not seeing any bias, maybe you read it with a bias towards Forde.
