Hey guys, if this is an inappropriate topic, please have a mod delete this post. I just wanted to brag a bit. For the last year I've been writing a collection of fictional short stories. The book went live yesterday on Amazon and broke into the top 100,000 sellers. That may not sound like much, but there are 32 million titles on Amazon. Thanks for letting me share.

It beats the hell out of MS2, errr, TigerNick making a thread about why KC is better than STL. Every. Five. Minuets.

Congrats, what's the name of the book?

Thank you. It has been over a year in the making with 5 rewrites per story on average. I wrote over 30 stories in that time. These are the best of those.

Just so everyone knows, I have paragraph excerpts from four of the stories in the book that are on the Amazon page.

AND, the first story in its entirety can be read for free on the Kindle version page.

Here is a paragraph from a story that didn't make the cut:

She closed her eyes. For several seconds there was nothing, then a single moan escaped her lips. It leaked out long and low. Her mouth opened and it looked like she couldn't get her breath. Tears ran and dripped on hands tightly clasped in a death grip on her lap. I gently touched the back of her neck to comfort her and she inhaled in a wet rush and began all over again.

Excerpt from the unpublished story Taking Stock.

Have you seen this board lately?

MS2 makes a thread everytime he breathes.

What is the name of your book? How long have you been writing?
