Last time I checked Louisville was still in, and part of, the state of Kentucky. Is this Cards Fan suggesting Louisville go f*ck itself?

Wonder if that's the same UofLCards83 that was hanging out over here too talking shite. Surely they're not all that unoriginal.

I think it's the same one who everybody hated at the beginning of football season. That bird has a loose screw.

You know you are wicked witch of the west level melting when you start ranting about taxes in a basketball thread.

quote:

F*ck every single one of you, it'll s*ck today when you have to go back to your Walmart jobs, lol.

And no I don't live in Kentucky, I left the state because of all the stupid political stuff. Newsflash UK fans, the city of Louisville would be a lot better in Indiana, we would probably get closer to 100% of our taxes back being spent in the community than the 50% Kentucky gives us back. We fund the rest of the d*mn state and yet you losers hate us. And as for the YUM Center, considering how much money our roads have built and the fact that without our money you all probably wouldn't have roads, running water, electricity or internet you owed us the Yum Center. You owed us a football stadium too but we had to build that with entirely private funds! So f*ck off.

If there's one thing I'm happy about it's that I know the state of Kentucky will never get another dime of my money from taxes.

Pretty sure this is incorrect unless the dude is not paying his IRS taxes. IRS money goes to US gov, which sends sends money to states for highway $$ etc.

I felt like I remembered a U of L poster on the rant saying similar things about the state of Kentucky and with a similar name.

Maybe it is this guy

quote:

Louisville might be in the state of Kentucky but that is where the similarities end. The city of Louisville is a paradise in the middle of Iraq.

And BTW I grew up in Southern Indiana, I have luckily never lived in the god awful state of Kentucky. More and more UofL fans are making the good decision of moving over to Southern Indiana as well

quote:

And us UofL fans with far more average income levels would be more than happy with that arrangement, as long as it is agreed that no taxpayer money from UofL fans ever makes its way to UK.

If you agree to that then I would have no problem with no taxpayer money from UK fans being used to support UofL. As it is now that doesn't happen anyway since the state is crooked and tries to hurt UofL at any opportunity at the benefit of UK.

Living here in KC, it's always fun to listen to ku fans meltdowns when they are bounced from the tourney early. They have a special hatred for a few teams, one being Kentucky.

It usually goes something like this..." Man I hate Kentucky, they are a dirty program, always gets the calls and XYZ team would of beat them without the refs help". And I'm usually like " yeah kinda like looking in the mirror, eh". Insufferable and self entitled douches that they are.

I've always heard from people that were at MSG in 11-12 when UK beat Kansas that they were some of the worst fans encountered outside of West Virginia fans.

And I feel like this Card fan is zipp jr.

They still mad Rupp left Kansas for Kentucky. Naismith to Allen to Rupp would have given them an unbroken chain.

I always find it funny they did not have the same wrath for Smith, Brown or Williams. I guess Smith's boring 4 corners and Roy's crying all the time meant KU was happy to see them go. I guess with Brown, since he came from UNC, it was not so hard to see him go.

WVU is just a different dimension of delusional fans. The success of "the dude" just bears out how delusional the WVU folks are to think this guy seriously knows anything about anything. At least Chip "the chump" Brown was being spoon fed some stories directly from the misinformation bureau in Belmont.

They were plenty pissed at Williams for leaving. Called him virtually every name in the book. This was after the fact he turned down UNC once before to stay at ku. UNC is his freaking alma mater and he wanted to go home, but that wasn't good enough for ku fans. Now that Self has had success and has beaten Williams head to head, everything is rosey in their "Leave It To Beaver" delusional world.

They like to talk smack about Kentucky and it's thinly veiled, it's mainly because UK has more total wins and championships than the dirty birds. It's like "How dare they"!!

Humm, maybe they will hire BCG after Self goes?

As a positive, it was UK (because of Petino) that cancelled the series between the 2 schools. Since UK is 21-6 vs KU, not a smart move on Pitino's side.
