Transferring (errr, getting kicked to the curb by Pitino for off court issues)….claims he wants to be near his home in Georgia.

May be a place where he can heal his issues and leg in the Plains.

Thoughts?

I'll take him. We need anything we can get at this point.

@GoodmanESPN: Two schools that could be in play for Kevin Ware are Auburn and Georgia State, sources told ESPN. Ware once committed to Pearl at Tennessee.

Well, I am saying there is some chatter this is where Ware is looking.

He does have baggage UL did a good job covering up.

I certainly don't see Pearl shying away from him. There's some legitimate discussion about how much his time away from the team this season was due to his leg or off-the-court issues.

It'd be a decent pickup for Auburn.

This whole basketball transferring thing is crazy. I didnt know it was so common for players to do this.

Plus his buddy was kicked off the team as well.

A lot of young women will feel safer when he leaves….but the dealers will be very sad.

I was actually talking about this the other day, I wonder if he got addicted to oxy or something after his surgery.

Hundreds of kids do it, it's like free agency.

No one really talks about it, but he was suspended from games earlier in their championship season (December/January I believe). He had some issues before the injury. I imagine the pub he got after the fact probably didn't help matters.

He's exactly the kind of player that Pearl will need to go after (good player with some off-the-court issues) if he wants to help Auburn compete in the SEC. Maybe it'll serve him better to be close to home.

I'm glad Pearl is back in the conference. He is on inspiring, highly motivated, descendant of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob. He will do well in Lee County those kids thrive off that motivation. I hope Grant can hang on the recruiting trail.

Ware would probably be our 2nd-3rd best player the time he hits campus, only behind KT Harrell and maybe behind Tahj Shamsid-Deen

AU is in no position to the turning away talents like Ware. He got a medical redshirt this year so he will have 2 to play. I have no idea about the off-court stuff though

So where are the links to the off the court stuff? I'm not looking it up because I know the Kentucky fans have it all bookmarked as their homepage. I'm not doubting you but some of you seem sour about it. I would just like to read what the issues were.
