They never really showed a section of Volunteer fans, there were groups but nothing like the other 3 schools. Did they not travel for the game, or were they just spread out?

They were on the side that the cameras were on.

Yeah. I didn't think there were any there either but when they showed the other side it was orange. Michigan fans were on the side with team benches which is why it looked like their were no TN fans.

UT fans were in a tough spot... the other three fan bases travel really well and had the expectation of being there.. where as UT as an 11 seed in the play in game didn't. and each school only gets 1200 tickets

there were vols fans there, but they were probably 4th in attendance.... someone said today on the radio that this was the most expensive sweet 16 ticket in tournament history.

That is what I figured, but they hardly ever showed any groups other than Michigan fans so it was hard to tell.

There were a lot of TN fans on the opposite side but the camera rarely showed that side. Look up pics of the game and you will see.

It's weird they would just ignore a fanbase almost completely like that. I know its Michigan but jeez.

There's no way it was more expensive than MSG. I'm in NY and was monitoring all week and stubhub was running 700 cheapest yesterday

What does that mean? If it is supposed to be a knock on UF basketball fans, I venture to guess you haven't seen much Gator postseason basketball the last several years.

Got to see 2 very good games. If they had won last night I would have likely been in Milwaukee on Monday.

But decided to sell my tickets for tomorrow so I'm back home now.

OP is correct that there weren't that many VOLS fans there.

I thought it looked like there was a fair amount of UT fans at LucasOil.
