did you watch his HUDL posted above?

Just watched it. Granted, he's still very young, but I think he'd be better as a DT, especially if he gets up anywhere near 350 lbs. He probably wouldn't be nearly as valuable there if we were still in the Big 12, but we need a big, strong body to shut down the inside power-running of Bama and LSU.

He's a freak so I wouldn't rule it out, but ideal DT size is probably about 6'2 to 6'4. Much taller and you are more likely an SDE. I've heard Hudson is over 6'6" now.

I think he's too tall and would have a hard time getting low enough to maintain leverage against quality SEC C/Gs. There's only 1 DT in the NFL over 6'6" (Ropati Pitoitua who I've never heard of).

So if we take only only a couple receivers, we're all in on Hemphill and LeFlore?

Way too early to speculate on that really. If we end up taking 4 WRs this year and have no attrition, we may even take 0 next year. It will really depend. FTR I'll be shocked if we ever went a year with zero, I'm just saying.

But we haven't offered Hemphill because he's more Kennedy than Noil. He's really good but he's probably not a guy you stop the presses and make a space for. Btw, there seems to be some speculation that Texas already re-offered. Is that true? If so what an absolute cluster frick

He follows tAggyArk on Twitter so you might be able to send him a direct message and ask.

that seems.....awkward

Maybe it's just me but tweeting at or DMing high school kids I don't know seems just creepy. I guess asking a straight forward question with no other BS would be okay though. What you think?

Yeah as long as you don't ask him to join you in the restroom you should be good.

Silsbee must grow powerlifters down there. Remember it is the home of powerlifting champ and WWE Superstar Mark Henry.

2016 Top 50 list by Evan Perroni's little brother

So far we've only offered the no-brainers: #1, 2, 3, 8, and 11. 4 and 5 probably are offered the second they step foot on campus. Anderson seems to think we're pretty close to offering him as well. I still think we'll wait a bit to sort the '15 DB class but pretty sure he's going to be offered by the summer.

Just FYI, TX generally has 4-5 five stars. At this point, it's mostly projecting so you will always need the film but I think Little and Jones are no-brainers because they already have it. Just on size/athleticism Hudson is a 5-star but he's got a long way to go on technique. My bet is evaluations are all over the place for him over the next year as he's likely to get eaten up at some of the camps while putting up insane SPARQ type numbers.
