I know we got a few Dawg fans here who root for the Jags so thought I would post this....looks like as soon as his physical checks out...he gone....Oakland bound...

WTF will the Jags do now?...their entire offense will be gone...

Maybe he's addressing his inner crip or blood. Better claim one or the other in Oak Town

Maybe we can nab Dasean Jackson on the cheap. Now that we have salary space and all. Cause god knows Blackmon is gonna be in rehab at least once or twice this season. Sucks too, he was a real cool guy down there but everyone knew that dude loved him some booze and partying. Like a lot

Everyone says this. Everyone said this about Timmy too. My response? Asses sit in the seats when the team wins. There weren't huge issues in the mid 2000s when the Jags were players in the AFC South and it wasn't because David Garrard and Byron "lead feet" Leftwich were stars that sold jerseys. If we signed Tebow then there would be an intitial surge of fan support only for them to see that, "holy shite, Tebow was barely passable as a QB with a team like Denver but with JAX he's almost insulting us with his play!" Then they'd all stop coming to games because Timmy Christ would be getting crushed game after game and continually losing.

Same thing with JFF if you ask me. JFF comes in, the 40 other people in JAX who don't already have a team are like "frick yea, johnny fricking football, where's my credit card" and suddenly the stadium gets a few more people. Then JFF in the first few weeks is split in half like that kid in Not Another Teen Movie. So then everyone is all sad that JFF is hurt and shite but then they are more sad when they realize that Hennething is possible and Chad is our QB the rest of the season again.

You don't fix the Jaguars by taking the short term, easy route of going for someone fans will "buy a jersey for." You get someone who will help establish a foundation the team once had before Gene Smith got so far up his own arse thinking he was smarter than every other GM in the league by drafting punters in the 3rd round, trading up for Derrick Harvey, or drafting Matt fricking Jones as a WR. Give Bradley a QB prospect who isn't a midget, who doesn't weigh 210 wet, and build a team around him. If we need to wait for another QB crop and trade down then do it. If we want Mack or Clowney is available then do it. I personally have said for 3 years now that Teddy would be a Jag and that wouldn't surprise me and I'd be ok with that. Mainly because Teddy, while not huge, doesn't like to play QB like THAT guy you get matched up with in NCAA who plays with the team with the fast QB and scrambles like the little twat he is for every play.

Build a team, not the brand. The brand will follow the team. And then London will have a star studded roster when it's all said and done.

I see you aren't a fan...

Bridgewater would be really good there too. Decent enough group of recievers down there to succeed. I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree that Manziel will be good in the NFL though

Everyone always nutted over JFF and I was damn impressed but I never thought he'd amount to a hill of shite covered beans in the NFL. And I have just heard like 10000000000000000 times that the Jags need Tebow or JFF to bring in fans.

If we get JFF then frick it, we got Gabbert, so it can't be THAT much worse rooting for another frickstick QB.

I truly think Teddy can be fantastic. I'd love Bortles too but he's a project and while he has a better upside I think Teddy is closer to being ready. And I have always loved Teddy. Always. I'd have killed a litter of puppies or a village of innocents to have him in Athens. The constant negative talk about him and his pro day (seriously, who gives a frick about a pro day) eats at me but I stand by Teddy.

And I figure on ol' John Football. I just think he'll come here, make a few WOW plays, and then be broken in twine.

Also, I feel like it needs to be stated that I actually like Chad Henne.

So dumb. If you look at his actual game tape (you know, with pads on and people trying to tackle him), he is probably one of the most accurate QB's I've ever seen coming out of college

I liked Caldwells draft last year for the most part so I trust them. They seriously cannot be any worse than Gene "well-I-did-a-character-evalutation-and-THIS-is-our-guy" Smith so I am optimistic. JFF just seems like a cheap answer but the Khan isn't above this. He tried his hardes to actually make the Tebow thing happen but luckily his ENTIRE coaching staff and scouting staff begged him not to. True story.

Exactly. And everyone wants to give me this "LOL, BUT THEYZ ONLY PLAYED IN DA BIG EAST, DGD, YOU BIG DUMB IDIOT, THEIR COMPETITIONS WAS TURRIBLE!!!! OMG LOL." I usually responded to these dolts that Teddy played against garbage but do we really think UL was a world beater in talent? That team was Teddy and his WRs made Rhett McGowan look like a god damn miracle worker. He had like one or two guys worth a shite. So the playing field was equal. Hell, he took that same roster and beat a DAMN fine UF defense like a damn drum.

Which is also another reason I love Teddy
