If you have a fry daddy, you can fry those and they're gooder than hell. I quartered them first before frying so they'd be bit size.

What kind of oil do you use? Not thinking peanut oil would taste too good here...
We've been known to quarter the rolls and put them in a cake pan, like a big casserole. They're chewier, but you wind up taking down a tube by two people.

Yeah, I've tried the bacon thing and it doesn't cook to crisp. It was "done" but just too chewy for my taste.
