Month in and looks like SS isn't solved and CF is still a question mark.

The two main holes Mo was supposed to fix this offseason.

I can not for the life of me understand the Peralta signing.

2 of his last 3 full seasons he hit under .250. I mean really.. how in the hell did people think he was an answer.

Peralta has some pop, so that's good.

I'm starting the think Grichuck was the real centerpiece in the trade. Dude has a cannon, looks like a natural right fielder to me. He looked good at the plate in spring, hopefully he makes an impact.

Bourjous has looked lost.

I'm pretty sure we'll see Tavares this month.

My biggest gripe has been watching MM use the same guys out of the pen constantly. We're gonna have some worn down guys at the back end if he keeps this up.

I feel like Grichuk is just trade bait.....with taveras starting to tear it up.

Yeah, he's a RF.

He can pull of center, but he's a corner guy, and too good to hide in left.

And yeah, they best be careful with CMart, guy is gonna be worn out if they don't watch it.

He's only 22.

Holiday is on the back end of things, Jay plays shitty d, and Craig is older and injury prone. I don't think they'll trade Tavares, Grichuck, or Piscotty anytime soon.

Who knows what they're going to do.

As of right now I'd be sad to lose Grichuck, Taveras, or Piscotty.

I would very much love to give Holliday the boot after this year.

Couple little bloop luck hits from hit last night. That one got through the infield, but the 2b man was up the middle.

I'd say I wish he was back in there tonight to see if some luck is what he needed to get himself going, but I'm kind of done with him.

I want to see Grichuk start 10 days in a row.

Guy looks like a star. I want to see what he can do right now.

Gotta get JJ in there every three days.

At this point just fricking pick one and go with him. I'd prefer Grichuk too, he can't be any worse than the other two at the plate.

Just as I predicted, the Royals are already done.

Frick it. Bring up Taveras. Game 1: CF Game 2: RF with Craig at 1st. Game 3: Day off. He can play 2 out of every three games. In Game 2's, you can rotate between Craig at 1st and Adams resting and Craig resting while keeping Adams at 1st. That way Craig and Adams are only missing 1 out of every 6 games. Taveras is playing 4 out of 6 games.

While we're at it, bring up Diaz. Stick him at short. Move Perralta to 3rd and put Carpenter back at 2nd.

Taveras probably gets his call up when we get into an inter-league stretch in June, were they can have Taveras, Adams, and Craig in the same lineup.

We'll have to wait until then.

What do you think about the Diaz deal? 2nd is such a black hole right now. He may not be ready. Hell, he may not be the player we hope he is, but what the hell. Give it a shot. Can't be worse than the production we're getting from 2nd now.

Gorgeous Bourjous is 2-2.

This can only mean two things. Jay will start in CF tomorrow and Tavares stays in Memphis another month.

Wong is raking at AAA, got to think that he is capable of being a solid MLB contributor.

I don't think I like the guy, but I think he's going to be able to do it.

He'll be back within two weeks. (But I'm not sure he figured out how to hit a cutter in his time in Memphis).

I like the Diaz signing, it was so cheap to get him, easy to like the gamble.

Looked good for that minute he was with the club in spring training, but not sure he's going to be a long term answer in the middle of the infield.

Dan basically outed Al for being a stoner on the air, it was glorious.

Hrabosky's bar had a smoking den in it that always smelled like weed.

It was without a doubt a weed den. No question about it.

Everyone knows that Ted Turner is a legendary burner.

Dan said in a kind of playful jest that he and Al had similar interests, and then Al laughed kinda awkward.

I got great amusement out of this.
