What's the best way to get from NO airport to the French Quarter?

Flying in to New Orleans tonight for a bachelor party. Is there a bus or anything that goes there directly? Is a cab my best bet?
Also, what are some ideas to do in the city around that area this weekend? Is there a Tennessee bar by chance to watch the game tomorrow?

Taxi is probably your best bet.
Honestly, bachelor party, you're probably just gonna be upending hand grenades at the Cat's Meow and getting kicked out of Hustler's. I don't know of any Tennessee bars though.
I usually stumble down Frenchman Street when I'm in NOLA, awesome live music scene.

I cabbed it a few months ago and it was around $30 if i recall right. Traffic was pretty heavy though so it might be cheaper in lighter traffic.

very reliable if you just use the hotel help.

Im not staying at a hotel. We rented a place.

but Dr John is and you don't have to leave the city.
Its all free and less tourists.
Plus all the restaraunts have tents with awesome food.
Its just my opinion but Jazz Fest is just too exhausting for me. I like to start early and be able to walk back to the condo and chill by the pool at times.
We get a condo on St Ann for pretty cheap from a friend's uncle.

Based off the amount of homeless and other neat folks I saw this week, seems like anything free in New Orleans would be a fricking circus.

I was hanging out with a girl they brought in from columbia in there during Mardi Gras. My buddy, her, and I were just hanging out drink JW Blue all night. No dances just hanging out. He went back to the hotel and she gets in a fight with a cocktail waitress cuz she was shitfaced. Well she smashed the cocktail glass on the waitress' forehead splitting her open. They dragged that bitch out by her hair. pretty awesome.
