Not really its pretty even only because its just easier for more teams to be good in baseball in the SEC than football.

If you only played one game in baseball like they do in football, then no. The 3 game series makes it look more competitive

Only LSU cares about college baseball.

It always seems that way this time of year because of how many teams are in the top 25 but look at the top 25 at the end of the year once we all cannibalize one another. Last year we had 5 teams in each sport's top 25, yet football had higher rated teams

SEC W basketball is probably most competitive and deepest of all the SEC sports.

I think you'd be surprised if you paid more attention.

There is more parity in baseball in general. The Astros were complete dog shite last year, but they still won a greater percentage of their games than Arkansas's football team did.

Agree. There are about 10 baseball teams in the league that can win a series against anyone else in the league. We don't go ten deep in football.

You don't see the vandy's and tennessee's of the conference beating the Alabama's and LSU's in football.

Kentucky just won a series against SCe in baseball after losing a series to bama. Much more parity in the league in baseball.

No, all but 3 SEC teams made the post season. 5 SEC teams made it to the Sweet 16 and 8 bids were issued. Looking at the history, the SEC has about double the Final Fours of the next closest conference and pretty sure at least half of the SEC has been to a Final Four.

That shows both dominance and depth.

Top to bottom it's better, but football's top half is probably more dominant

Pretty sure all but Missouri (13 of 14) baseball teams are in the Top 35 nationally in attendance. Pretty sure at least half the conference is in the Top 10 - Top 20. That is pretty good indication that more than just LSU cares in the SEC.

it's easier to marginalize a stud player on the diamond than it is on the gridiron.
