Though Experiment: What would make sense $$$-wise?
Merging with the B12/ACC makes no sense whatsoever--too many midgets that can't pull their weight in TV contracts. Make me commish, here's my plan in a multi-year rollout:
----- 16 -----
UNC
UVA
Would probably want to stop here, but just for fun, we'll keep going
----- 18 -----
OU
Bevo - sucks but they would add $$
----- 20 -----
Fla St
Kansas
----- 24 -----
at this point, we'd need to start doubling up in medium sized states. No idea if this would be net positive or breakeven adds for TV $$ per team
VTech - could sub for UVA @15
NCState - could sub for UNC @ 16
GTech
Clemson
----- Under consideration -----
Texas Tech
Miami
WV
----- Never add these turds -----
Ok State
TCU
Baylol
Duke
Kansas State

I find myself wondering about fanciful issues too. Kind of like how long I will let my wife watch me roger these two ladies before getting her in on the action and then having her make me a sandwich.

Why would you even listen to this guy who has been wrong on so many things.
SEC will not raid any ACC school as both ACC and SEC are both ESPN conferences
The only expansion I can see is the ACC adding Uconn at some point, and even that will not be anytime soon
Big 12 screwed itself when they did not add Louisville when they had the chance. Now all these WVU and Texas folks want to fix things to their advantage after fumbling realignment the first time.
Think of MHver3 as a troll and ignore them.

The MD vs ACC lawsuit will go a long way in showing how stable the ACC is. If MD wins I'd expect some ACC teams to defect if the ACC TV contracts fall further behind the SEC and B1G.

It's certainly not going to be UVA or UNC. They are way too good for the SEC.
