This is SEC related because there are a lot of SEC fans in Houston. Plus, this is the off-season. Plus, this is fricking amazing to watch and I thought people would want to see it. Move it if you must.

Sorry. It is crazy hard to watch even when you know he's going to make it. I'll edit the title if people think I should, but I don't think I'd want to watch it not knowing.

The only thing hard to watch about the video was the dumb bitch worrying "do they even know he's up there" while she sits there and films it on her phone.

Nice rescue. The ladder operator barely swung the ladder away just in time.

yeah let's film the complex on fire instead of evacuating. Unless that camera was extremely zoomed in those people should have long since left.
and nice douche comment "i was gonna get an apartment there too" while watching a mans life literally hang in the balance.

No it's not. This is what the Off-Topic board is for.

Yep. The guy was only in danger because of Texas' laissez faire economics and non existent building codes. There's a reason we don't see these videos coming out of anywhere else. He was an inch and a second away from death because some oil oligarch wanted to cut corners and save a little money. Ah Tejas
get back to us on that theory when you get out in the real world, young buck.

I sincerely hope you're trolling rather than seriously believing that building codes have any impact on fires in buildings under construction.
Just in case you're serious, here's one in that great conservative mecca known as San Francisco.
Here's another from Tampa.
How about Greensboro, NC?
Maybe New York?
and even Pennsylvania must have sorry building codes.
Here's your firefighting lesson of the day. Buildings under construction don't have functional sprinkler systems or many interior walls. They do, however, have lots of exposed framing members and open spaces between floors which allow for rapid fire growth.
When you have a significant fire in a building under construction, you're going to lose the whole thing no matter where it is located.

He's trolling. He's from SCAR, where this apartment complex would be the largest construction effort in state history.
