Justified IMO, he was taking up for his pitcher after a bitch move by the base runner. I have no problem with that.

When fielding the ball, the runner can't run into the fielder or interference should be called and the runner should be out. Fairly sure that is the rule.

He could start with not putting up his forearms and trying to run him over. This is baseball, not football and he wasn't coming into home plate. Call it what you want but there are unspoken rules in baseball and he broke one, period.

I saw nothing but a bunch of pussies in that video. If you're gonna make the effort and clear the benches like asshats, you should at least fight instead of standing around pretending like you're gonna fight.
