Awkward Dating Situation you've been in?

I met this beautiful lady while vacationing. We dated for a year in a long distance kind of deal. She mainly came and visited me however one weekend I was able to go visit her. I flew up and did the weak romantic surprise shite. For dinner her brother was having us over. She was a little older than me but she was the baby and her brothers were super protective. I was the first guy she took home ever. I show up and her brother was 6 feet tall and built like a freight train. Well he had a tick where he would crane his head to the right and hum. So at first I was like this motherfricker is fricking with me. Well his kids wife and sister weren't laughing so I was like ah man this dude has this weird tick. His kids got a bad evaluation on behavior well when this dude got mad his tick happened every 3 words or so. He asks me to come outside and show him how mighty Texans operate a grill. The first thing I think is this guy wants to take me outside and press my face against the grill while cranking his neck to the right and humming. Paranoia struck over me and I got real shy real quick constantly evaluating the situation. After dinner on our way back to her place she starts to yell at me for being rude and here I am thinking this prison guard is trying to cook my face for popping his sister's cherry.

a buddy of mine made out with some chick, only to find out a week later that they were 2nd cousins.

Senior year of high school a girls dad sat me down and straight up asked me what my intentions were with his daughter.. I was trying so hard not to laugh

i worked at pizza hut in HS and early college. The one i worked at was right by a church. They came in often. the pastor's family was always very friendly and his daughter was smoking hot.
one day she leaves her number on a napkin for my "tip" her dad intercepted it, grilled me on my theology and christianhood ( was a part time youth pastor intern at the time), was appeased, and handed it over.
i called and we set up a date. it started off really well as she was pretty fun and flat out gorgeous. then she gets into her past of how she had recently gotten out of drug rehab and her dad wanted to make sure i wasn't a fellow user. Kinda awkward to offer that up, but we have a good time.
on the way home she asks to stop by a friends house. we go in and i smell the ganja the second i open the door. all of the lights are out and there's just a fog of reefer smoke throughout. she introduces me to her friends (who were cool) and we chat for a bit. i go to the bathroom and pass by a room where i see people shooting up as well.
i walk back and tell her i'm out and go sit in the car. about 20 minutes later she comes out pretty stoned and gets all frisky on the way home. i turn down her advances get her home, she goes to her room and i start watching college football with her dad. a while later he goes and checks on her and she's passed out on her bed.
after the game i said thanks and never answered her phone again.
tl;dr pastors daughter turns out to be a pothead and uses date with me to go get high.

Took a girl out bowling on our 2nd date as she wanted to do something other than dinner and a movie. I knew she was competitive as she mentioned she had played soccer in high school. We get to that dark smoky bowling alley and she says that she's great at bowling and this should be a fun time. I'm excited and we rent the clown shoes and the whole jazz that goes along with preparation. We play the first game and she bowls terrible and I win.. she laughs it off and says she's gotta warm up. We play again and get the same result.. 3 more games go the same way and now she's starting to show some upset in her face and I can tell her competitiveness is coming out. She refuses to stop playing and insists we keep going because she has to win. 4 games later and now she's furious but she's ahead in this game going into the 10th and final frame.. I throw 3 consecutive strikes to overtake her and without saying anything she takes off the clown shows, throws them down the lane towards the pins and walks home.
I stood there, laughed, and then played another game.

Very hot college girl asked me to take her out to dinner - back in the day when I was lucky to have $50 in my wallet at any time. She directs me to a restaurant and proceeds to order 2 dinners probably totaling over $100. Then, she proceeds to pick at her food and say she's not hungry.
By this time I've figured no way in hell I can afford to pay for her dinner. Then, I get pissed.
Go to bathroom near front exit - guy working front leaves for a second. I leave the chick alone at table to pick at her expensive meal.
Next week her girlfriends catch me out and are hugging me and buying me drinks. Says she's a total b*tch and always does that to guys.
By this time I've figured no way in hell I can afford to pay for her dinner. Then, I get pissed.

I kind of had a similar experience, but the opposite roles. Sophomore year of college I run into a girl that went to my high school but was a year behind me. I didn't really know her that well in high school, but she was cute and very flirtatious. I didn't pick up a Jesus freak vibe from her so I asked her if she wanted to go out sometime. A few nights later I'm getting ready to go pick her up and go to dinner and I hit the bong a few times. We get to dinner and I order a beer and use my fake ID. She is appalled, and I go into a giggle fit. She asks what is so funny and I apologize and tell her I'm high as a kite. She goes on a long Jesusy speech to me and the date turns miserable.
We're actually still friends somewhat. Not someone I see very often, but keep in touch from time to time. Last time I talked to her, we laughed about that date.

True. I could actually dominate this thread with all the awkward dates I've been on due to my social anxiety/awkwardness. It's a wonder I could even get girls to date me at times.

Had a girl drag me to the first Harry Potter movie back when it came out. We went to the Saturday night movie -- problem was that I'd been out all night the night before with some buddies, then duck hunted the next morning, then had to help my dad with something that afternoon, so needless to say I was exhausted. I feel asleep about 10 minutes into the movie (sorry, I'm not into the Harry Potter stuff), and she woke me up when the credits rolled.
Needless to say, that was our only date.

I told a girl I just didn't really want to be in a relationship and I thought we should cool it off.
I really just wanted the all clear to take this girl out that I had met the week before at a bar and hit it off with.
The day after i told girl #1 I took girl #2 out. OF course Girl #1 shows up at said restaurant just about after we place our order. I see her spot me and just keep my head down hoping it will all blow over. It doesn't she comes over and starts to bitch at me immediately. She then starts to bitch at girl #2 who pretty quickly apologizes and says she needs to leave as a scene starts to get made. I lay enough cash to cover the waitress and get the frick out of there. Never heard from either again.
