Auburn will offer season tickets at a reduced price in the upper decks of Jordan-Hare Stadium due to reduced ticket allotments for opponents' fans in 2014.

The "Eagle's Nest" season tickets will cost $350 for the Tigers' seven home games, which is $100 less than the regular season ticket price, according to Auburn.

The ticket options will not require a donation to the Tigers Unlimited Foundation. The seats are only available in 2014 and will not be available in 2015.

Smart move...the seats are not all the same so the ticket prices should not be either.

Good idea. At the end of the day it will make them more money and do way more to fill up the stadium.

The upside? of having both Bama and UGA on the road this year. Don't have anyone we have to send 10,000 tickets to - everyone gets 7,500 and AU gets to sell 2,500 more season ticket packages.

They should continue that moving forward.

It would be nice, if for no other reason than to have 2500 less idiots in the stadium when those two come to call.

However I think we have agreements with them and will probably continue to honor that.

We do and we will.

I would just like to see a tier system for ticket prices like MLB does.

LSU is moving the visitor seats this year, I'm glad we are doing it because fricking other teams use to get way more seats down low at LSU than we got when going on the road.

Smart idea here. Obviously not the only factor, but definitely the biggest reason in poor overall attendance the past few seasons. Away tickets haven't been close to sold out most games, and Auburn has not done a good job advertising their availability when returned.

as stadiums have gotten bigger, this is happening more and more.

Used to be for the Iron Bowl in JHS, the North Endzone was sounding like a bama home game... our offense had trouble communicating on that goalline. Now their all spreadout everywhere

Not sure about AU, but there is damn sure a "tier" system for ticket prices at UA. Sure they all have the same face value, but your tide pride donation is tiered based on what club you're in. Better seats higher club prices.

Well yeah, everyon has a tier system for the donatoins adn as the donatoins and years of donatoins increase, the seats improve.

I am speaking more in terms of face value.

The Braves charge like 7 different prices for thier games at Turner field based on locatoin. I'd like to see AU do that as well.
