I have watched about 5 minutes of basketball this season so I have no clue about either team. Talk around the water cooler is that UT is a hot team right now with some beasts down low. How do they match up with the Maze and Blue.

Fairly well. If they can keep the ball out of Stauskas' hands they have a pretty good shot at winning.

Theyre one of the worst rebounding teams in the country. We have Stokes.

It could go either way. We should bully them in the paint but Michigan has better guards than us on the outside. As long as we play team basketball like we've been and avoid the Jordan McRae show it should be a hell of a game.

Hopefully Richardson will play like MJ again.

Mich is one of the hottest teams and I think they may roll UT.

Does UT have 2-3 guys to lock down Stauskas, Levert, and little big dog on the wings?

If Richardson, especially defensively, and Stokes can maintain their current level, we have a shot.

UT's guards don't impress me in the little I have seen this year. I feel that guard play in March is key to moving on more so than any other positions.

Our defense has been really good as of late. If we shoot decently and get the ball to Stokes down low then I think we have a shot. Unless, Michigan just starts bombing threes out their arse then I don't see how it won't be a close game

Josh Richardson says what up white boy. I'm looking forward to that match up as much as any other aspect.

He can guard anyone in the country, which UT fans already knew he was capable of. It's his offense in the Dance that's blowing everyone away.

He came in to the tournament averaging around 9 ppg IIRC. He hasn't had less than 20 in any of the 3 games so far in the tournament. It's going to be a great game that could go either way.

FWIW, through out the tournament, I thought our guard play has been solid. A far cry from what it was mid season.

I watched Michigan a couple times this year and Tenn a couple games. I am not a basketball guru, but I think that if Tenn can control the boards, they have a good chance of winning. Michigan seems like the more complete team though.

I doubt your best defensive player will be checking Michigans backup PG.

Richardson, Barton, and McRae but esp. Richardson are all stepping up big. The amazing thing about the team right now is all are contributing we had like 4 guys in double digits against Mercer and Richardson's D was great.

I assumed it was Stauskas(sp). I didn't care enough to Google his name/number. But you would be right, it'll be either Barton or McCrae
