Ole Miss baseball: The DENNIS system

You've all seen the beloved episode of It's Always Sunny, "The DENNIS system", but what few of you may know is that the episode was based on Mike Bianco's tenure as the Ole Miss baseball coach. Here's a rundown.

D- demonstrate value: the Rebs have gotten off to a fast start in the non conference. People are wary, but starting to sprout wool nonetheless.

E- engage physically: After a surprising effort in Columbia we have a sweep of Mizzou and find ourselves tied for first in the league. Perhaps the wool isn't unwarranted.

N- Nurture dependence: An uneasy an exited fan base finds themselves jubilant after an unlikely series win at a tough Alabama squad.

N- Neglect emotionally: The heroes return to Oxford only to lose the series to Auburn. The next weekend we also get swept by State. Much gnashing of teeth is experienced.

I- inspire hope: just when we think all is lost we pull out a series win against LSU, and a sweep of Kentucky. Everyone is back on the bandwagon.

S- Separate entirely: After narrowly missing out on hosting, we find ourselves as a #2 seed in a easy regional. We win the first 2 days and use up all of our good pitching, only to lose 2 in a row to the mediocre 3 seed. And we pack our bags for home for yet another CWS.
