Pretty good week of baseball for the SEC. If you want to contribute to this week's Baseball Power Rankings, submit your 1-14 ranking of the SEC teams here or email it to me (email is in my profile). Voting closes at the end of Monday, and the winners will be announced in the Baseball Power Rankings thread on Tuesday

Here are some suggestions that we give to the regular voters:
quote:

We aren't going to tie your hands with a "formula" but we encourage you to use some of the following: the past week's results, team momentum/trend, conference record, rankings (RPI, SOS, CBN, Coaches, NPI, etc), team stats, OOC record, overall record, eye-test. We trust that you're able to form your own combo of these elements without our guidance, but we would like you to emphasize what a team has most recently accomplished.

Week 1 PR:
1. South Carolina
2. Vanderbilt
3. LSU
4. Ole Miss
5. Tennessee
6. Mississippi State
7. Alabama
8. Kentucky
9. Florida
10. Auburn
11. Texas A&M
12. Georgia
13. Arkansas
14. Missouri

Here's a rundown of this week's conference series.

(2-1) AU @ UT: 3-2, 4-2, 6-8

(1-2) SC @ UK: 5-13, 1-2, 8-3

(0-3) MU @ OM: 3-4, 1-7, 3-8

(1-2) Bama @ Arky: 17-9, 1-2, 0-1

(1-2) UF @ aTm: 5-3, 4-5, 3-4

(1-2) Vandy @ MSU: 2-17, 3-6, 5-1

(0-2-1) UGA @ LSU: 0-4, 1-2, 2-2

Alright, post 'em if you have 'em

Yeah that's what I read...just really odd. Seems like they should forfeit or something

A&M and Tennessee will end up in the bottom half of the SEC.

I heard they were flying out of New Orleans which would put them leaving BR earlier. It was a 3:45 curfew because of it. Still sucks but that just what I heard

I think these 5 are pretty interchangeable too...any of them have a legit argument as the best. Only time will tell

Unfortunately for Semo and I, this seems to be true

I'm not sure there is a clear cut number one right now.

I think there's a smaller gap between the top and bottom halves of the league than there has been in the past.

The only things solidified in my mind is that USC, LSU, OM, MSU, and Vandy could all be switched up in the top 5 right now. Missouri and Georgia are no doubt the bottom two right now.

There truly is not. Holbrook is just not a Ray Tanner. All I am going on.

minor gripe: A&M took 2 out of 3 against Florida and yet you have them higher?

I don't know. I feel like I'm too biased and easily swayed since I can see everyone else's ahead of time...plus it's hard

3) LSU
4) SC
5) Vandy
6) UK
7) Auburn
8) Bama

12) Flordia
13) UGA
14) Mizzou
