Can anyone else's dogs open the front door of your house?

I have a golden retriever that has found out how to do this whenever he wants, so I have to keep the door locked at all times. It's a massive pain in the arse because when I have guests over they don't know about my dog's unfortunate talent and leave the door unlocked, which leads to him escaping immediately and running off for a two hour adventure.
Anyone else have to deal with this shite?

Had a grayhound that could do this. He went to live with some friends in the country. With a large fenced yard.

Mine figured out how to hit the handle on the screen door to open it. Have to keep it locked at all times .
