This baseball team has been a pleasant surprise, although we haven't played too many really good teams. Wish we could have taken that series at SC last weekend. The pitching has been solid and we finally got another leftie in the rotation. Love finally seeing some pop with the bats too. Okay, back to my ???

How good is Errol Robinson with the glove? To step up and take over short stop as a true freshman is impressive.

Errol is my favorite player on the team. He'll go down with the likes of Cozart when it's all said and done. .425 OB% too. Love watching him play.

He's a hoss... He has brief glimpses of being a freshman but otherwise he plays much higher level ball.

I'm a fan of Evan Anderson... Don't know why he doesn't pitch more

Errol has really really good range to his left, but still needs some work to the right. That will come with arm strength though. He's definitely capable of being the real deal defensively.

As for Even Anderson he had one really good outing and one outing where he couldn't even hit the catcher. He has good tools, but he's also young. I think they'll slow play him until they feel he can handle more pressure. His worst outing was in a higher pressure situation.

Errol fricked up last night and let a ground ball go between his legs, it's the first time I've ever seen him frick up. He's great. His older sister is an AOII here

Why? SEC teams can take their pick from good northern players. No one wants to play in that cold shite.

Eh true... I don't really follow baseball recruiting so that could also explain my confusion haha

Maryland isn't in the north, but I get your point regardless.

Also, it's not like Maryland Terrapins baseball is worth a shite.

Not a member of the Confederacy = Not part of the South.

His Granddad played baseball here too and still lives in Oxford I think. I'm sure that certainly helped us get him

And below the Mason-Dixon line.

Maryland isn't Deep South, but it's Southern, particularly its black population.

White Marylanders don't have a lot in common with white Mississippians, I'll give you that.

I It's not like Maryland and fricking Vermont are analogous when it comes to their politics during the Civil War, so in that sense your standard is far too simplistic and lazy.

Baltimore had to be invaded and held under martial law due to the popular Confederate support among its population. The "Baltimore Plot" was an attempt to assassinate Lincoln before his inauguration day. So just because MD didn't secede doesn't mean that, politically, it was pretty damn Confederate.
