I still say the bigger part is coming in over confident. Losses come easy when you get puffed up.

Considering that we were a strike away from losing the Ole Miss series, id say they weren't puffed up at all.

Well, considering the soaring stature of Carolina's program, we're thrilled in Lexington to be competitive with the Cocks.
Maybe this year will include the Cats' first trip to the CWS, and we'll break the curse on our baseball program.

If the NCAA does not shaft Uk again. Gary IN fiasco is still fresh in my mind. NCAA always gives ACC 1 more than they should, and shorts the SEC 1 less than they should. Sadly, this trend will continue now that the ACC has added Notre Dame, Louisville, Syracuse, and Pittsburgh. Having Cards and Irish should mess with any hopes of the BTN to get say Purdue going in baseball. ESPN wants some payback for the BTN getting Maryland.

Louisiana-Lafayette could end up ranked #1 with so many team ahead of them losing.
Even if they deserve to be #1, you know the polls have a popularity contest element to them. UVA or Oregon State will probably be #1 in most of the polls.
