10 win season/rivalry win without playoff or Final 4 in basketball?

Which would you choose as a fan of your school? This assumes your Final 4 appearance doesn't result in a national title in basketball.
Edit: Meant to basically ask if you'd give up a football playoff that you end up losing in for a Final 4 you also lose in.

Given what Alabama has done the last 5 years in football, I'm to the point where I'd choose a Final 4 over another football championship if I had to choose one or the other. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to give up being a perenial top 5 football program, I just want a Final 4 that bad for what it would do for our basketball program.

Bama is our biggest game but if either one of us fell off there wouldn't be the same level of hate as say OM/MSU, gumps/identity crisis U.
