I'm not really sure why you're attacking the OP. He makes a very solid point. Two weeks ago their fans wanted Martin gone immediately. Now he has them on the cusp of a Sweet 16. I would be curious as to what their tone is this week as well.

Please, nearly every Vol poster on here before the SECt was hoping you would lose out and not even make the tournament so he would be FIRED.

Callers and radio hosts (including jimmy hyams) said earlier this week the Martin needed at least two wins to be safe... don't act like it wasn't a discussion all season.

My opinion: this team has still underachieved and barely made the tournament. This is a team that should've been a much higher seed. From the games I've watched this season, I still wonder what they're doing on offense sometimes, especially against the zone. They play tough and rebound well and I appreciate that. I will also add that the guard play and 3 point shooting is lacking and it's not like they were going to challenge for a natty. That said, they still looked poorly coached at times.
I can't answer whether or not he should be fired, kept, or whatever. I'm just glad they got hot at the time they did.
Edit: I couple things I am sure of about Martin, he has slayed a ton of white women and he rides around with that Nina.

Tennessee had an underwhelming season based on the talent they have. It is frustrating to Tennessee fans because they have seen games like their game against Virginia that shows this. It is perfectly understandable why Tennessee fans were upset with Cuonzo.

Grad Transfer/Cofer/Turman
IMO we will finish top 5 in the league next year. We have been basically the same team every year under Cuonzo regardless of personnel. It will all depend on if Hubbs can become a McRae type scorer like most thought he could during the recruiting process. Thompson will be an upgrade at the point and Richardson has become very good.

I think Armani Moore has some potential to be a good player in this league. Not a big Reese fan.
