Surprisingly BBQ isn't on the list.
City Museum really is one of the most unique places anywhere, wish they had better pics of it in that article.

My mom says there's a lot of black people in St. Louis

Reason 27: Crown Candy Kitchen
ETA: Not a single mention of The Hill? List is shite.

This is one of the those places that's like a right of passage for a St Louisan. It gets pumped up a little too much but the bacon and milkshakes are very good.

Hill is, imo, overrated, especially nowadays.
The restaurants aren't that great, and they're all spread out through a residential area.

I love black people. The black population should be reason #28

The only good thing about St. Louis is the strip clubs in east St. Louis

That is actually the biggest reason I want to make a trip to St. Louis sometime soon.

Illinois.
But we've pretty much annexed that area into Missouri.

Glad you've heard of it, there's no place quite like it.

They left out The Lewis and Clark Museum under The Arch? I guess that is still there? I thought it was cool when I was a kid.

I did not see Saint Louis University on this list, hence it is invalid.

I think that's being renovated with the rest of the arch grounds, I think it's in progress right now. Should be improved when it's all done.
Always enjoyed that field trip.

Eh, just a step up from Fontbonne...

I live in a city with literally TWO decent Italian restaurants. The Hill is paradise.

Totally disagree. Not all of them are great. But there are plenty of great ones. My favorites are Cunettos (cuz lunch), Trattoria Marcella, and LoRusso's (cuz flash fried spinach).
If you want to try something different in the way of Italian (but phenomenal, IMO), check out my buddy Vito's place in Clayton, Mad Tomato.
