I feel more excited and anxious to pull for the sec in the ncaa tourney rather than bowl games lately. i'm so sick of dick vitale and the rest bragging about the acc and aac that it makes me want to puke.

the committee has no respect for our conference and well.....we will be 4-0 after today.

at least in football bowl season, we get respect from the media.

I never realized....I'll have to conduct some research on this.

I agree with this. When Florida won the NC vs tOSU, I attended and pulled hard for UF. Great memory.

in the past 8 years, we have won the championship 3 times and you would swear that the sec has never competed for one if you listen to these dickheads.

the committee must be listening to them way too much to only put 3 teams in. and hell......we are dominating the NIT.

Not the same for me, but I don't follow basketball anywhere close to football.

I root hard for everyone in bowl season because I get sick of hearing how the SEC is overrated yet few can beat an SEC team on the field. Err, with exception of the two teams from the landmass to the east of The Landmass. They had a rough go of it last year.

The way some of these teams are playing in the big tourney, there's no doubt that most of our NIT teams can hang with and beat a lot of these guys. Fact of the matter is, we have to stop losing to far inferior teams in November and December and start scheduling and beating some quality teams. UGA could have had the same exact record, but if they simply had a win against a Wisconin or Michigan, they would probably be in. One game matters. The only reason UT made the tourney was that 30+ point win over UVA.

I have more conference pride in the bowls than in the tourney, mainly because cheering for the SEC as a whole in the NCAA tourney is usually liake a bunch of premature ejaculations in a row. Sure, there's sometimes that one team that goes far, but the conference as a whole seems determined to go flaccid at regular intervals.
