Lot of rumors that Qualls is leaving

And for many reasons.
Main reason being his GF and their son need money, and he wants to support them immediately by leaving to play overseas.
Also rumors that the coaching staff have hinted for him to move on as well, which could be related to his multiple suspensions.
These rumors mainly stem from the Arkansas 247 board, and made their way to HiV who ran with it even more.
Take with a grain of salt, but there sure do seem to be quite a few of these rumors.
Anyone heard anything to add?

I don't see it happening. Thurman would be a good person to listen to about leaving early.

This is a shame. Really wish these kids would look beyond the moment they're in, see the bigger picture of their futures, and BE MORE CAREFUL!!!

Seems like he'd grow up a bit, & be more mature since he has a family & all. Sounds like he needs to get it together & realize he's got a great thing going for him. He needs to take advantage of that, straighten up, & get his degree.

This shite always seems to happen. Right when we're on the brink of being really damn good and one of our best players is going to bounce.

Yes and no, Qualls seems like the bad apple on the team, and sometimes eliminating them is better for the team in the long run.
I fricking hate his attitude, and I think a lot of players/coaches do too. He's been suspended what, 3 times and he's a sophomore?

Why start this "he seems like the bad apple" narrative? Just because rumors of him leaving?
Why do you care what his attitude is?
His two suspensions were this year with Harris for the LSU game in Baton Rouge and a half in non-conference cupcake, right?
He'll be in Europe unless he comes back another year to work on his handle and shooting consistency.
Could be a late 1st round pick next year. The mother also is at Arkansas playing hoops for the women so the need for money could be real. Hope he sees that it would really pay off if he stayed another year and got more of his degree.

Qualls would be a huge loss. Hopefully tAdmiral pays him if he needs to be paid. It's college basketball so it's not like it doesn't happen everywhere already.
We have a chance to be really good next year, and he single handedly got us like 80% of any exposure we got this year.

Qualls might be in the top 25 of NCAA sophomores this year.
The draft is based quite a bit on hype and demand. Even if a GM sees something in Qualls that would fit his team perfectly, he would also know that he can get Qualls for cheap and let him work his way up onto the main roster.

same here.
and not that it matters but quall's is supposed to be a pretty intelligent guy. i heard it said he was like top 10 gpa in his high school in shreveport (i know la education- that was for you geauxt
). hopefully, someone is going to give him some good advice to stay in school and get better at basketball before he heads on.

If he'd focus on defense I could see him having a role for a decade. He's got the athleticism to be a great defender and a solid role player on offense.

Other articles out there have have him as either late 1st round pick or early 2nd. If he worked on his handles and shooting this summer he could rise more in the 2015 draft.
