Alleva and LSU coach Les Miles want six permanent and two rotating opponents.

"The ADs will not change their votes," Alleva told The Advocate. "The only hope for change is for the (SEC) presidents to realize it's not an equitable schedule. They have to have the foresight and wisdom to change it."

According to the report, Alleva doesn't want a nine-game SEC schedule.

"That means seven more losses for certain teams," he said.

Er...he does realize that also means seven more wins, right? I'm assuming he knows how it works and all.

Or just maybe he should realize that they are fair enough. Why should the majority have to change their beliefs for one.

An extra loss means more than an extra win. He is stating how once the playoff starts we could potentially just knock SEC teams out of it entirely if we are playing more games that the rest of the country doesn't have to worry about.

So would that make Saban the biggest world class bitch of all time? Joe is trying to adjust a schedule, Nick is trying to change the rules of the game?

It was just a question tiderider. I agree that Joe is being a bitch. But then he must agree Nick was being an even bigger bitch

You probably won't hear Nick say much more about it ,and didn't hear much about it until this offseason. Alleva has been singing this tune for a while.

If Saban complains about HUNH every offseason without any concrete data that it's detrimental to player health, then yea that would make him a bitch too

He'll stfu if Florida continues on their downward trend though. He preaches equality for everyone in the league, but his thinly veiled agenda is about getting an easy road for lsu
