Camera People Question about Canon PowerShot A2500

Company just gave me this camera for work use. My question is, is it a POS like all the other work tech they purchase and do I need to go ahead and order something better? or is this thing decent.
It needs to work in all light levels, ability to zoom in and still have a clear picture even if it is cropped to only half original size would be nice.
So will this work? If not, any recommendations for the replacement?

It's an entry level camera. However they've come a long way and point & shoots are disposable nowadays, use like you stole replace with a better one in the future.

That is all I needed to hear, thank you.
I just didn't want to get back from inspection and realize the pictures are only clear on the camera screen or something and have to make another trip.
The computer they bought a while back makes me question everything they do now. I am pretty sure it was used.

For a job, the camera will be okay. Depending on the quality you need. I'd say sufficient for most. Fits in your pocket nice, don't have to worry when you drop it.

Awesome, thanks.
Now since I seem to have a camera person on the line, let me ask you if there is a point and shoot (or anything that I don't have to change out the lenses on or that doesn't have a massive lens) that I would be able to take decent pictures at a distance in low light without a flash. Think concerts and sporting events for the most part.
Price isn't really an issue I don't think.

Look for a camera that has better ISO ratings and lenses with lower f stop numbers.
You could do better, but its really about budget.
