It's that time of year (if the weather ever clears up) to load the carts up with beer... oh and your clubs and take in the sunshine as you take part in the age old battle of Man(woman) vs Course.

So whats in your bag and whats your favorite course to play.

Me:
TM R7 Graphite Irons/FW woods
Superfast Driver
RBZ hybrids
Tour Edge putter (Cheap)

as far as Course Fazio @ Barefoot

I golf a lot but there aren't too many Dawgs on the board that do from what I've seen.

I have Cleveland CG16 steel shaft irons
Same driver as you
Rife Barbados putter
I used to work at Kiawah so free golf got me on those courses a lot. I would choose Gary Players Cougar Point as favorite

UGA has a great course. I wanna play it this spring. Be nice if we could get a group to play

I try not to get wrapped up in brand. As long as you're not buying the low-end junk, then golf clubs are like toothbrushes these days with all of the technology advancements. Really not much difference, imo besides the brand packaging. I try to forget all that and pick what feels most comfortable in my hands......

Irons - Switched to graphite shafts a couple of years ago after resisting it because I thought graphite shafts were for old men. Probably shaved off 5 strokes right there. Very straight and much more forgiving. I carry 3-9 irons with 44, 50 and 56 degree wedges. WIth medium to low bounce.
Driver - This is the most consistent club in my bag for some reason. The key for me, is a light driver. Weight-wise. I mean like a feather light. And a regular flex shaft.
Putter - Regular classic mallet putter for me. No belly/long putter gimmicks. My putter has to be heavy though. This makes you think of the club and not your body. ANd when that happens, putts start to fall.

Favorite Course: Any course not clogged with slow-playing hackers that dress up like PGA pros and take seven practice-swings before each shitty shot.

I still have the old Ping G5s and driver. There are a lot of courses in south GA so I can't say I have a favorite, but Sanctuary Cove is my home course.

Nice track. Played in the ASun Championship there years back. That 10th green is ridiculous when the pin is back right and the wind is up.

Clemson's course is in the top 25 college golf courses. UGA and UF only SEC ones and they are high up in the 20s. UGA plays insane long from tips

I looked at joining there the other day..practice facility is pretty solid. Have only played the course 1 time and it was years ago so I'm still debating on whether to pull the trigger or not. I thought the Frog was in Villa Rica?? Is that basically the same as Dallas these days?

Hit my first and only eagle on 14. Hit from the rough about 155 yds and could barely see the green down the treeline. Knew it was a good shot, but when I got to the green the ball wasn't there. I looked everywhere to no avail, and then it hit me. I told my son, go check the hole, and there it was.

Same one.. I guess it has a Villa Rica address but it's a lil closer to Dallas so I think of it that way..

Bentwater is very solid but it can get beat up in the summer, they play a ton of rounds on that course....

I see, I played Professionally for a few years and now after paying off all my debt I'm about to get back to it so I need a new place to wear out. Hopefully I can work out a good deal with them.
