Lady Vols earn 1 seed

South Carolina earns 1 seed

Florida 11 seed playing Dayton

Vanderbilt 8 seed playing Arizona State

8 SEC teams make tourney, more than half the conference. Congrats to everyone who made it.

I have no desire to fill out a woman's bracket. Since there are probably about 100 people that do so, I am likely to win a trip to next years final four and that would just be embarrassing

Why did y'all downvote? This is news just like softball standings and swimming & diving championships.

SEC WBB>>>MBB. What I mean is, the SEC is better at WBB than MBB, overall.

This whole show has been an entire failure with the graphics

Whoever is running the Chryon and the producers should be fired, this is inexcusable and embarrasing

Yeah it's hard to follow, the brackets they've been putting up have been quite confusing.

They would if it was men's.

Women's BB is the most predictable sport in NCAA. UCONN is going to win like usual, and if not, Notre Dame or Stanford. Nobody else has a legitimate shot.

I agree.

Probably. But I wouldn't say no one else has a shot. A&M wasn't supposed to win a few years back. And Louisville made a pretty good run last year or the year before if I remember correctly. Tennessee could get back to the Final Four. South Carolina played Stanford very close in California in the Sweet 16 two years ago.

People only say that when it's a women's sport their school sucks at, which Georgia doesn't btw.

Earlier there was a thread about overall athletic programs and everyone was bragging where they could about their certain women's teams.

Why is there a 2 page thread regarding midseason softball standings?

I hope Toledo makes CLIT if they can't make the NIT.

Anxious to see where UK lands after making their run in the SEC Tournament.

ETA: In the region with Baylor.

negative ghost rider. lsu is generally good at women's bball, softball, and track, but i'd still rather watch paint dry than watch one of those teams play. honestly, the only people i know of that actually care are other women, old people, and parents/friends of girls who play

Number 1 seed!

But they stick us in Seattle for rounds 1 and 2, and Palo Alto for rounds 3 and 4

Sigh....

Each time I read a comment like this, I cross my fingers that karma is paying attention and will one day bless said tough guy poster with a daughter who plays her arse off on a collegiate team, only to have a bunch of punk kids tell her that "nobody" gives a frick about her sport.

You, dawgfan, may not give a frick about women's sports; but many others do.

Tough bracket and should have been Louisville not South Bend.

Tennessee vs Notre Dame would have sold better and of course Kentucky vs Louisville probably would have sold best of all the 1st and 2nd round games. Like when they put UK baseball in Gary IN against Purdue when UK had already added several thousand temporary seats for the baseball regional. Attendance in Gary for the Purdue site was terrible.
